Extract-A-Lon V Extraction Cleaner Clausen EXTRACT-A-LON V is a special formulation for extraction cleaning required for use on the various brands of fifth generation stain resistant nylon. As specified by the nylon producers, it is non-ionic, has a maximum pH of 10.0 and is to be used with water temperature below 140 F. Meets the requirements of nylon products for use on their brands of stain resistant nylon and is recommended for use on all carpet fibers including wool.

MEETS CARPET SPECS - A special moderate pH, non-ionic complex that meets the requirements of the products of new fifth generation stain resistant nylons. Performs with outstanding results as well on all carpet fibers including wool.

EFFECTIVE AGAINST GREASY SOIL - Contains non-ionic surfactants chosen especially for their ability to penetrate emulsify and lift greasy soil for complete removal.

MODEST pH - A pH maximum of 9.5 will not remove the soil resistant treatment and will not initiate browning.

BUILT IN DEFOAMER - There is no foam from EXTRACT-A-LON V to require the addition of defoamer.

CONTAINS ODOR COUNTERACTANT - Eliminates that wet dog smell of some freshly cleaned carpets. A proven odor counteractant leaves the carpet and the whole area with a clean, fresh aroma.

HOW TO USE:
DILUTIONS: Extract-A-Lon V is highly concentrated. Use as little as 1 ounce per gallon of water against light soil, 2 ounces per gallon for moderate soil and 3 ounces per gallon for heavy or greasy soil.
PROCEDURE: 1) Vacuum thoroughly before use... 2) Remove spots. If needed pretreat heavily soiled areas with STAY CLEAN... 3) Proceed to apply and extract EXTRACT-A-LON V solution.
Cover all areas uniformly...

Brush looped pile in one direction while still damp. If furniture must be replaced before carpet is thoroughly dry, place squares of plastic or foil under legs to prevent rust stains.
